Congratulations to Stevenson University’s Mock Trial team for a successful performance in its first tournament of the Fall 2023 season. Last weekend, the team competed in the Colonial Classic Mock Trial Invitational Tournament at the College of William & Mary. SU Mock Trial won 6 out of its 8 trials and finished 4th out of 24 teams. They faced off against a slate of mock trial teams from Yale, Columbia, UNC Wilmington, Swarthmore, and Boston College, among others. Our team showcased its skill and aptitude, as well as the diversity of disciplines at Stevenson—our team’s 10 competing members included Legal Studies, Accounting, and Business Communication majors. In addition, 5 members of the team were freshman, all of whom put in a strong first mock trial performance.
