Member Institutions
The Independent College Fund of Maryland is a strong group of outstanding colleges and universities, primarily in the liberal arts tradition. All member institutions offer bachelor’s and master’s degree programs, and many confer doctoral and first professional degrees. Together, the I-Fund’s member institutions—stretching from Chestertown to Emmitsburg—educate 54,000 students. Maryland’s diverse geography is well represented by our independent colleges: from farmlands to mountains, from historic Chesapeake Bay to the heart of the big city.
