Loyola University Maryland raised $241,215 from 1,508 donors during the third-annual Greyhounds Give one-day of giving on April 20. Gifts primarily benefitted the Evergreen Fund, which provides immediate support to the numerous initiatives, programs, offices, and departments at the core of Loyola’s mission.
Total dollars and donors this year set a new 24-hour record for Loyola.
“Many times I have said that the future of Loyola University Maryland is only as bright as its supporters want it to be. Thanks to the many generous people who gave yesterday, the future of Loyola is extremely bright,” said Terrence M. Sawyer, J.D., vice president for advancement at Loyola. “I am grateful for their enthusiastic participation in Greyhounds Give, and for their continued investments in exciting new opportunities that enrich the Loyola educational experience for our students.”
